The analogy of comparing the breaking of pottery in a place of business (that is open to the public) with interference in a sovereign state to depose "unfit" rulers and establish "acceptable" puppets speaks volumes about how the American military views their position in global government. This self-righteous arrogance makes the entire United Nations a futile and powerless dream of world peace, it simply irritates other superpowers into a never ending "Cold War" of threats and intimidation while ordinary people everywhere are powerless.

If the U.N. security council was made up of countries like Sweden, Iceland, Latvia, Guatemala and Jordan, and the "resolutions" were backed up by unified force of all member nations, perhaps these middle east dictators could be tried, stripped of their ill-gotten wealth and the murderous "security forces" could be disbanded and disarmed. Then the United States could be charged with war reparations for it's belligerent invasion of Iraq, Israel could be held responsible for their massive invasion of Lebanon (under their own arrogant code of behavior), and Russia could be held responsible for the genocide in Afghanistan etc., etc., etc..
