Chris Martenson posted an article behind his paywall where he says that a retired US General says the Russian Federation is on the verge of collapse in the next 4-5 years. Now I find that odd given that Russia is doing better without the West as it has shifted to the East.

"General Says ‘Collapse of Russian Federation in 4-5 Years’ Retired U.S. General Ben Hodges warned that the world needs to prepare for the collapse of the Russian Federation “as we know it” within four to five years. Hodges claims that sanctions, military losses, and corruption are factors likely to cause the failure of Russian energy and arms exports, which represent central parts of the Russian economy, setting the foundation for a potential Russian balkanization."
https://peakprosperity.com/russian-collapse-predicted-japanese-buildup-india-denies-biden-economic-war-expands/

What's really troubling is that if you remove Putin those waiting in the wings are Warhawks and Neocons. They despise the West and have felt Putin was too nice to the West and NATO. They would not hesitate to push the button to save their homeland.

The other problem is China because surely they see the writing on the wall that they are next in the line of sight of NATO and the World Economic Forum. If the world continues on its current path and everyone is wanting war, it could get quite ugly. Right now, no one wants peace, they are all wanting war.

The interesting thing is that this has happened throughout history even before the Roman Empire. When an Empire sees that a change is taking place they bully everyone around them. That's what the US is doing around the world.

The big problem is that the Romans, Egyptians, Greeks, Mongols, etc never had access to nuclear weapons along with their neighbors.Rod Briggshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01892085143658761123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992740250270600844.post-33208750594731417242022-09-18T07:24:21.969-07:002022-09-18T07:24:21.969-07:00Top historian Niall Ferguson warned Friday that th...Top historian Niall Ferguson warned Friday that the world is sleepwalking into an era of political and economic upheaval akin to the 1970s — only worse. The government and mega-companies have hijacked and taken control of our freedom to see what is really going on. Spot on. I think ...Thought provoking summary Bruce. Spot on. I think we could add the demise of the US as global hegemon and the rise of a multipolar world with another key axis being BRIIICs. Caused by the fall of the petrodollar as the Saudi/US relationship slides, rise of the US corporations/aristocracy (MIC and Big Pharma in particular) bankrupting USA, and the inability of US/NATO to understand that, even if you are promoting liberal democracy, a sense of superiority is not necessarily helpful in international relations. More than a few of the 85,000 plus readers seeing this article on Zerohedge pointed that out.
Later I found out the confusion came from the fact Dale Carnegie was born as Dale Carnagey on November 24, 1888, in Maryville, Missouri. This means he changed the spelling of his name.
This spelling error has been corrected. Feel free to let me know in the comment section any other large explosive issues you think I should have included in this piece.
