A National Retail Federation survey found a record $761 billion of merchandise was returned last year, creating an estimated 5.8 billion pounds of landfill waste. See this video and realize Amazon's claim it can massively reduce returns is total BS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKpkL3ZyLBoBruce Wildshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10181323607060607040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992740250270600844.post-73730256946754290742022-04-01T17:22:34.950-07:002022-04-01T17:22:34.950-07:00And another, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBuds...And another, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBuds2vCgv4Bruce Wildshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10181323607060607040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992740250270600844.post-47207302757563634932022-03-30T18:49:19.726-07:002022-03-30T18:49:19.726-07:00And today, another, see this video at the 45 minut...And today, another, see this video at the 45 minute in spot.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KtTAb9Tl6EBruce Wildshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10181323607060607040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992740250270600844.post-32904763239466036522022-02-20T07:32:04.141-08:002022-02-20T07:32:04.141-08:00Here is another!

It concerns the massive $1.28 billion fine Italy has placed on Amazon. It details how Italian antitrust regulators on Thursday slapped the e-commerce giant for abusing its market dominance.

https://nypost.com/2021/12/09/italy-slaps-amazon-with-massive-1-28-billion-antitrust-fine/Bruce Wildshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10181323607060607040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992740250270600844.post-53917992248621941162021-12-09T07:49:22.170-08:002021-12-09T07:49:22.170-08:00I have to disagree with you on this. I personally...I have to disagree with you on this. I personally love Amazon. It is so much more convenient to be able to find what I need quickly and have it delivered to my front door usually within a few days. It is so much better than having to waste time and gasoline driving around to different brick and mortar stores, and then wasting more time searching through the aisles, only to not find what I'm looking for half the time. Jeff Bezos is a piece of ****, but Amazon the company is fantastic.
Yes, Amazon should pay it's fair share for shipping through the U.S. Post Office, but they're getting around that by innovating and creating their own shipping network. Plus, they employ thousands of delivery and warehouse employees.
What the U.S. needs is more manufacturing in our own country to make more of the stuff that Amazon sells.
Amazon is not the villain here. The villains are the bought-off politicians, both Republican and Democrat, who allowed the offshoring of millions of our manufacturing jobs.Dave2020https://www.blogger.com/profile/15839510248960245602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992740250270600844.post-45216634423387734692021-12-07T08:27:14.289-08:002021-12-07T08:27:14.289-08:00I find it rather amusing when the MSM refers to th...I find it rather amusing when the MSM refers to the likes of Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates as "our billionaire friends". No they are not your friends or mine. They are ruthless individuals that see wealth as power and control.

Amazon is an interesting case because it has built its Empire on quick and fast deliveries which entails cheap fossil fuels. That eventually will be the downfall of Amazon because we are in a permanent decline of energy, especially cheap and affordable energy.

Just look at Europe to understand the problems they now face with energy shortages as the wish upon a star that solar and wind will save them. It won't and part of their ongoing energy problems is because they fell for the "renewable energy hopium".

Eventually the world will see a permanent decline in fossil fuels all made to accelerate because of Covid and foolishly shutting down the global economy. People think that energy producers make a killing on extracting energy from the ground or sea. What they fail to realize is that the same energy producers have to reinvest large sums of their profits back into exploration.

Amazon will eventually find that their business model was the wrong way to go as the permanent energy crisis looms on the horizon.Rod Briggshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01892085143658761123noreply@blogger.com
