The Spreading Feeling "This Is All Happening By Design"

As events unfold I have witnessed a growing opinion being battered around that something sinister is happening beneath the surface. This includes the feeling we are no longer in control of our fate. More and more the idea that form follows function and the winners were picked before all this started is being injected into the mix. This theory embraces the proposition the bottom half of society is destitute and totally dependent on the government which means they have been removed from the battlefield. Now that these people are no longer a threat, corporate and government collaborators are consolidating power and control.

Is This All happening By Design?
Like many of the people watching this slow-moving train wreck, I'm beginning to lose perspective. My insight has become blocked by the increasingly irrational actions taking place. The uneasy feeling that things will get far worse is being heightened by the suggestion this is all by design, and when you don't get that, you have no defense is indeed frightening. It is bolstered by the supporting argument we should not listen to what those in charge say but rather that we watch what they do. Much of the growing apprehension is rooted in the domino effects about to be unleashed upon the economy. An example is, the tenant doesn't pay the landlord and risks eviction. The landlord doesn't pay his mortgage and risks foreclosure. The bank doesn't get paid, but that's OK because taxpayers will bail them out.

With so much unresolved and hanging in the wind conspiracy theories are taking wing. While I do not endorse the theory this is all developing as planned, it is difficult to deny the situation is dire and the general population remains clueless as to the dangers ahead. Collectively this includes a Fed which is out of control and a polarized government that is dysfunctional at best. Add to this the market manipulation which has reached epic levels. This whole scheme has resulted in a massive huge transfer of wealth and the creation of social chaos. For the "greater good" we have seen rules to further restrict our freedom being instituted and more expected to be imposed in one way or another.

Economic Hardship Has Many Faces
Just how unkind the recent Covid-economy has been to the middle-class has been masked by the helicopter money flowing from Washington. This has skewed income and spending across America but little attention has been paid to those taking it on the chin. This includes the owners of small businesses and those making substantially more than before the pandemic hit. The evidence of the pain and damage being inflicted on the Main Street economy is going beginning to become apparent. It can be seen as we drive down the street and see move empty windows and for lease signs which are sprouting up like weeds.

Even the appearance of a coin shortage due to our government being inept is causing people to claim this is all an intentional part of a larger plan. It means businesses are using the coin shortage to stop taking cash. This has left some people wondering if those wanting the demise of paper money are using the virus scam to eliminate cash altogether. The pandemic and warning germs can be transferred on the surface of money mean that suddenly "money" has now been deemed "unsafe." The rumor is out that Nancy Pelosi has already inserted in one stimulus bill the seeds of "taking our currency digital."

This would force everyone into the banking system increasing the government's ability to tax, track, and control just about everything. The complete transformation to digital currency would mean if the government does not like your business or politics they could just lock you out of the system. They could even charge you to park your money while the bank would be allowed to lend it out and charge interest on it. Eliminating cash is the first step they must adopt for this to work. It would lock money into their system, they would eliminate or control all alternatives to money so it cannot be diverted from or moved out of the banking or financial system.

Is the plan to crash the US into the most devastating depression we have ever seen? While this could wipe out all US debt and clean the country of past obligations it would result in lost credibility and standing for generations to come. To construct such a calamity is simply insane and would shake the world economy and global financial system to its core. Many people claim a crash was coming anyway and the virus just sped things up. When looking at the alternative paths forward the importance of the forthcoming election could never be more crucial. These people point to the fact you can't have an economy that is solely built on fast food and shopping, you have to make stuff and export.

We should at least acknowledge claims by the "it is all happening by design" faction extend to saying that all efforts to halt the coming collapse will not be enough. They contend the question is whether the markets will implode before or after tens of millions of Americans hit rock bottom and become totally destitute and ruined. Judging by the failure of Congress to grasp the urgency or just how enormous the threat to our future is, perhaps this is the way the entire evil system was designed to unfold.

    3. I still like real estate. Today real estate may be the "cleanest dirty shirt" in our closet of investment options. The fact that it is real and tangible is its greatest strength rather than the argument of guaranteed strong demand going forward. When wisely purchased real estate does have strong merit.

When things go well real estate has the potential to produce a stream of steady and growing income for decades. In addition, replacement cost has soared in recent years and are not expected to drop going forward. More about this very complicated market in the article below.

  2. I was onboard (mostly) right up until the very last sentence. Why do I keep seeing and hearing people who want the government to do something? They are complicit in allowing this to happen and even made most of it happen. You are on your own now and the sooner you realize that the better you may be. Otherwise, People like me will be using you as fertilizer.

    1. I'm afraid the last sentence created a lot of confusion, after reviewing it several times I decided to leave it as it is, this may have been a mistake. Let me explain my thought. The threat is Congress will do too much and interfere by passing these large unnecessary bills that delay the economy from returning to normal.

Anyone reviewing the archives of the AdvancingTime blog will see I'm not a fan of deficit spending or government interference. The politicians are so busy pandering and trying to buy votes that they mangle everything they try to do.

I'm very independent and self-reliant, this means it is unlikely you will be using me as fertilizer. I expect to survive and will see you at the top of the hill. By the way, thanks for the comment.

  3. Prepare for hyperinflation. They are going to do to us exactly the same as they did to the Germans in the 1920’s. History repeats itself.

  4. Then again it might be a process of negative feedback, swirling down the rabbit hole.
The rich and powerful might seem in control, but they are only riding the wave, not powering it. Yes, they leveraged positive feedback to build their world on top of the broader society, but when the ecosystem crashes, it might be better to be one of the small furry creatures in the bush, than a top predator, who will fight among themselves as easily as crush the little guys.
As these mobile organisms with a sequential process of perception, in order to navigate and a narrative based culture, we naturally think of time as the point of the present moving past to future, but the reality is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. There is no literal dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.
We equate sequence with causality, but that's not quite accurate. Yesterday didn't cause today, rather the sun shining on this spinning planet creates this cycle of days and nights. Though our thought process is more like the sequence of days. Flashes of perception, like a series of movie stills. Which we then try to tie together in some coherent form, even though their only function is to move through the environment.
So then we develop collective narratives to keep large groups together, but the gaps insist on persisting for those paying attention. What these people need to understand is that reality is more thermodynamic, than temporal. Learn to swim the currents and surf the waves. It all journey. The destination is just a hustle to keep you moving in the right direction. It's all educational. The tide comes in and the tide goes out.

  5. So are you psychic and you've tapped into the minds of 300+ million americans and thus know about this opinion that supposedly exists ? Did you conduct a survey ? Where do you get this information about this prevailing opinion everyone seems to have ? Because I certainly don't have that opinion or feel that way.

  8. Writing from Viña del Mar, Chile.....
WE are cruising into an Orweliano nightmare down here too, a coward government that follows the dictates of the WHO, CDC and John Hopkins has the country on lockdown destroying the economy by the day with nary a sigh of opposition from the political spectrum, we are in for a Mad Máx world in a not too far away future.... Basic liberties suspended by medical martial law...... One or 2 months away from absolute surrender and despondency or.... Bloody revolution.

  9. Dear God, I hope this is by design. If they are doing this without knowing what is going to happen God is our last hope. Because all is lost if they are that stupid.

  11. Good article and we Americans should have a lot to be concerned about right now. FYI - the new bill is not a rumor - The new bill is called the "Banking for All Act" SIL20449 and they are trying to get this enforced by January 1, 2021. You can find it by googling it.

  12. There is no doubt that this is by design because the globalists, World Economic Forum and others have publicly stated what they planned to do, have done and will do. The Rockefeller Foundation published its 2010 plan and a recent 2020 plan that details everything we are experiencing:

Strategic Steps to Reopen Our Workplaces and Our Communities, April 21, 2020

  14. I don't buy into the theory that some nefarious cabal is orchestrating all this. China screwed up and unleashed this virus on the rest of the world - that about sums it up IMO. It is possible that they did this on purpose in retaliation for what the U.S. has been doing to challenge them on multiple fronts, but if they did it was a really stupid move that will ultimately hurt them as well. What we have now are political forces, namely the Democrats, Socialists, and Marxists, trying to take advantage of the pandemic for their own gain. This is a dream come true for the Left because it enables govt. to take on more authority and power and provides a convenient excuse to expand the welfare state to the tune of trillions of dollars. We'll get through it, but not without damage to our Republic and Capitalist economic system.

  15. Apropos a few things, maybe ...

There is no functioning welfare state in the US - get kicked through one of the many holes and you could die. I've come close myself. I could tell horror stories and dig up stats, but if you don't know how bad it is on the bottom you aren't paying attention - I put a lot of value on my freedom, but being free to die in the dirt isn't freedom. So whatever the economics I refuse to believe that the wealthiest, most powerful nation on earth cannot afford to somehow keep its people housed, healthy, and educated - if Federal deficits are running too high that's not the place to go looking for money.

When I'm healthy enough (and SSDI allowed it) I work as a computer scientist in cryptocurrency, which I do not advise as a place for holding a lot of your wealth - or even for speculation - unless you really know what you are doing. Crypto mining is a nasty oligopoly, many governments hate the stuff, most exchanges are unregulated, and the prices are thoroughly manipulated. For starters.
